What we offer

If you’re curious about levels of important nutrients in your body, micronutrient testing is the key to understanding where you may be lacking. Spark Health assesses for levels of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, electrolytes, fatty acids, and amino acids to help you understand your full nutritional picture and how it can impact your health.

Your doctor will work with you on dietary guidelines, oral supplement recommendations, and a customized IV protocol, if appropriate, that focuses on replenishing nutrient levels and resolving associated symptoms.

We recommend you stay off supplements for a week before you take this test.

Though it would seem obvious to boost the body’s nutrients with one of the many commercially available supplements, the human body is more complex than that. Plenty of evidence exists to show that micronutrient excess can also cause harm and long-term supplement intake can risk excessive levels. Certain nutrients perform best in the presence of other nutrients. For example, the body needs vitamin D to absorb calcium. Certain nutrients may perform counteractive functions. For example, beta-carotene and vitamin C enhance iron absorption, while calcium and polyphenols appear to reduce the absorption of iron.

Unlike other clinics that just sell medication, Spark Health utilizes a holistic treatment strategy that looks at all the internal and external health factors. We go beyond the conventional and the cookie-cutter to offer customized healthcare. All our services work in synergy across the core pillars of our practice.
