NAD IV Therapy & Injections

We're excited to announce that Spark Health is now offering NAD IV Therapy & NAD Injections! NAD is a Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is a coenzyme form of B3 (also known as niacin), which functions as a hydrogen carrier for approximately 500 reactions that are essential to our body’s processes; from DNA repair to mitochondrial function, to immune function and inflammation modulators, to cell signaling to the generation of ATP (our bodies’ foremost energy currency).

NAD IV Therapy & Injections Benefits:

NAD IV therapy/Injections has many benefits including increased energy, improved cognitive function, reduced inflammation, enhancement of cellular repair, and anti-aging effects. It is often used as a therapy for fatigue, mitochondria support, metabolic syndrome, and neurodegenerative disorders. It can also be used post-surgery to accelerate wound healing.

NAD IV Therapy:

NAD requires multiple vitamins, minerals, and amino acids to be used by the cells, such as Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, B-vitamins, and amino acids like Proline and Glycine. Therefore, all our NAD IVs also include these vitamins and minerals to improve the body’s use of NAD.

NAD Injections:

Unlike with regular vitamin IVs, the NAD IV requires a slow drip (to patient tolerance) to prevent sensations of nausea, palpitations, chest pain, flushing, tremor, and anxiety. Consequently, NAD IV drips may last anywhere from 1 – 4 hours, depending on the dose and the patient’s tolerance level.

For this reason, we are now offering NAD Boost Injections, so patients can receive the benefits of NAD therapy without the time-commitment. Our NAD Boost injections contain 50mg of NAD, 1ml of B12, and 1ml of MIC.

NAD Injections & IV Therapy Menu

The NAD IV takes longer than the typical vitamin IVs. It may take as little as 1 hour, and up to 4 hours depending on the dose and the individual’s response to the treatment. The frequency of NAD IV therapy will depend on your individual needs and goals.

Lower dosage of NAD in the injectable form will allow patients to receive NAD therapy with minimal discomfort and minimal time-commitment.

Frequently Asked Questions

NAD IV therapy involves the infusion of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) directly into the bloodstream via an IV drip. NAD is a coenzyme form of B3, or niacin, and it is required for many cellular processes such as DNA repair, cell signaling, and the generation of ATP, which is what our cells use for energy.

Unlike regular vitamin IVs, you may feel some discomfort during the NAD IV drip. If dripped too quickly, you may experience nausea, palpitations, chest pain, flushing, tremors, or anxiety. These symptoms typically resolve if the drip rate is slowed down, but the IV may need to be discontinued if the side effects are severe. Like all IVs, there is a small risk of severe allergic reaction.

The NAD IV takes longer than the typical vitamin IVs. It may take as little as 1 hour, and up to 4 hours depending on the dose and the individual’s response to the treatment.

The frequency of NAD IV therapy, NAD Injection will depend on your individual needs and goals. Some people receive NAD IV therapy/Injection once a week, while others may receive it several times a week, or less frequently.

Patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or those with certain medical conditions such as liver disease, kidney disease, or a history of cancer may not be able to receive the therapy.

There are NAD supplements available, and options to take precursors of NAD, which can increase your body’s natural production of NAD. Oral supplements can be a great option if you are not a candidate for NAD IV therapy, or if you want additional support between IVs.
