The best dose for each patient is the one that produces weight loss at a steady rate with minimal side effects. Most patients should see results at 1.0mg Semaglutide or less, but sometimes patients plateau and need to go up periodically over time.  The package price increases at each dosing level (about $50 per dose level extra per month).  Rarely patients will not see any significant benefit from this medication (maybe 5%) and rarely will the side effects be too extreme to continue (maybe another 5%).  There are no guarantees of effectiveness or refunds for packages.

Yes, you can transfer to our program at the dose-specific price referenced above for a minimum of one month.  Sometimes patients will do this for just a month or two if their prescription version is unavailable at the correct dose or if they want more doctor support and lab monitoring than at their current clinic. Semaglutide is an FDA-approved medication for weight loss. Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea are the most common Semaglutide side effects, but they usually subside after a few weeks of using the medication. We work with you in reducing the risk of nausea by starting you on a low dose, coaching you on how to maintain protein and nutrient intake, and by staying well hydrated.  Your doctor can discuss other possible side effects with you.

Yes, we have an Initial Doctor Consultation for $375 that does not use medication, and instead includes more comprehensive labs to identify blocks to weight loss, including hormone imbalances, digestive issues, and inflammation. Your weight loss program is then personalized based on your needs, including diet and exercise recommendations, hormone balancing supplements or medications, digestive treatment, stress management, inflammation lowering, among others. Labs and follow-up visits are not included in the initial visit since we will customize each program based on patient needs.

Your initial appointment is a 45-minute visit with the doctor to help go over your health history, history of dieting or weight loss, and weight loss goals.  The doctor will review the risks and benefits of each medication and together you will determine the best program for your needs and health history.  Monthly follow-up visits are included, and doctors are available for questions daily to help with dosing or side-effect issues.

That depends on you. In our weight loss program, once you have achieved your safe and desired weight, you and your doctor will work on ways to transition you off the medication, while working to incorporate healthy habits that will allow you to maintain your target weight. If there are underlying conditions that prevent you from maintaining your target weight, your doctor will discuss other services we offer that could address those issues.  In general, you will regain weight if you don’t have healthy diet, exercise, and stress management habits in place when you try to come off the medication.

You can bring your labs in for our doctor to review and verify whether the necessary markers were tested. We will still need to repeat labs every 3 months while you are on the program to monitor your values. This is included in the package.
