Integrative Medicine Clinic / Center

This approach to integrative medicine is unlike anything you’ve experienced before. By creating a circle of care that brings all integrated services together under one roof, our practice encourages patients and providers to identify gaps in physical and mental well-being and design whole-body care plans that inspire action.

Naturopathic Family Medicine

Spark Health offers specialized primary care services for every member of your family. Our approach to naturopathic family medicine is focused on prevention, health education, and the safe use of natural medicines and conventional treatments. Instead of replacing traditional pediatric care, our team performs additional assessments of underlying nutritional, digestive, allergic, or genetic issues that can directly contribute to acute and chronic health problems. Our doctors treat children and teens with conditions like allergies and asthma, rashes, fatigue, digestive problems, and more.

Natural Cleanses, Detox & Dietary Programs

Natural Cleanse & DetoxThe purpose of any natural cleanse or detox regimen is to reduce the amount of toxins in your body. By adding more foods that are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to your diet and increasing levels of hydration, you can eliminate these foreign substances. Follow one of our detox programs—which combine dietary changes with strategies for drawing toxins out of the body quickly—to give your body the reset it craves.

Hormone Balancing Therapies

Horomone BalancingHormone balancing for men and women is critical to maintaining a high quality of health. Disruptions in our sleep and wake cycles, changes in stress levels, dietary or nutritional deficiencies, and environmental factors can all alter our hormone levels. Our goal is to fix these hormonal imbalances using integrated and individualized patient care plans that may include natural bioidentical hormones, nutrition, and IV nutrient therapy to help balance your hormones.

Food Sensitivity Testing - we DO NOT test allergies

Food Sensitivity TestingFood sensitivities or intolerances are abnormal responses to a food component triggered by the immune system in the form of immunoglobulins (IgE, IgG, IgA), prompting an immediate or delayed response.

We start with an IgG food allergy test that examines foods consumed in the typical western diet and many substitute foods typically found in rotation diets and measure levels of over 100 individual IgG antibodies present in the body. IgG antibodies manifest themselves as bloating, headaches, muscle aches, or even cognitive dysfunction.

Digestive Health Treatments

Digestive HealthOur team will recommend one or more tests to find the root cause behind uncomfortable bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, IBS, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, SIBO, acid reflux, abdominal pain, nausea, poor digestion, and more. Once we receive your test results, our nutrition specialists will work with you to develop a unique diet plan that you can use to minimize irritation.

Specialized Men’s Health Concerns

Men’s HealthAt every stage of life, it’s crucial that men monitor the state of their health. We provide ongoing preventive care for men that may be experiencing low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, hair loss, frequent urination, acne, mood disorders, sleep disturbances, muscle loss, weight gain, low libido, brain fog, and more. At Spark Health, our team of experts work directly with male patients to perform tests that evaluate whole-body function, and to develop comprehensive treatment plans to resolve health concerns in real-time.

Visceral Physical Therapy

Visceral Physical TherapyVisceral physical therapy is a manual process that evaluates and treats internal pain and dysfunction as it relates to the body’s organs, membranes, fascia, and ligaments. Instead of focusing solely on the site of pain, this method assesses the whole structural relationship between each of these body systems to locate and address sources of discomfort.

FAQs

Complementary or integrative medicine brings conventional and complementary approaches together in a strategic and coordinated way, with an emphasis on treating the whole person rather than one organ system or condition. Integrative medicine allows for patient-focused care among different providers with multiple approaches for the most effective outcomes and results.

Complementary or integrative medicine focuses on wellness and disease prevention, rather than palliating symptoms with medication. At Spark Health, we start with a thorough initial appointment where we get to know you and your health goals and challenges and base our workup and treatment plan on your specific needs. You will have an ongoing treatment plan that is personalized to you as a unique individual.

Your Spark doctor is an expert in both conventional and natural therapies, so there is no risk in trying an integrative approach to your health.

Integrative medicine focuses on physical and emotional wellness and looks at each patient as a unique individual. Rather than simply looking for solutions to symptoms or focusing on the disease process, we focus on getting to the root cause of a condition, preventing future problems, and using a multi-disciplinary, team-based approach to treatment.

If you are looking for a supportive team of healthcare providers that focuses on your health and wellness, then integrative medicine is right for you! Our integrative team is led by naturopathic doctors and includes chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists, and more.

You will begin with an appointment with your naturopathic doctor, who will take time to get to know you from the inside out. By understanding your health history, lifestyle, genetics, and symptoms, we are able to determine what testing is needed to take a deeper look. Once we have results from all of our testing, we will meet again to review your personalized treatment plan, which can include medications, supplements, nutrition, IV therapy, and referrals to members of our integrative medicine team.

Our doctors use a number of different commercial and compounding pharmacies for your medications, and all supplements are available in the clinic and through our online store.

We utilize a variety of lab tests to fully understand each patient's unique makeup and health challenges. We are able to look at all areas of health and wellness with lab testing, including cardiometabolic status, digestive health, brain chemistry/neurotransmitters, micronutrient deficiencies, food sensitivities, and genetics. We base our treatment plans and recommendations on the results of your tests so that every patient has a wellness plan that is tailored to their specific needs.

Our treatment plans and recommendations may include medications, natural supplements, nutrition and lifestyle modifications, IV nutrient therapy, acupuncture, functional movement and exercise, chiropractic care, hands-on visceral physical therapy, and natural joint injections. Our goal is to create a roadmap to optimal health and to be your partner in wellness.
